Oil/Canvas. He was the boat boy who led us to visit his tribe in the Panama Canal. Later he danced with me at a party the tribe threw for us, Emberá is Banana in their language, and the name of the tribe. $1,000

Oil/Canvas: She is a young girl from the Emberá tribe in the Panama Canal. For a note of mystery I added the floating baby, duuplicated,, who was actuallly the child of an older tribal member. $1,000

Watercolor: In San Francisco in the 90's we found the streets lined with people holding up signs, "Marriage. 1 man 1 woman." I thought this made a statement about their bigotry. My daughter and I snapped many pictures as we rode through. I drew a montage of the pics in pencil and had a lot of fun painting it. $500
